"From the typeface on the menu, to the well-mixed French 75 aperitif, to the frites served in a cone, Toulouse looks and feels like a sleek brasserie somewhere in France. And much of what chef Yoanne Lardeux turns out happens to be deliciously correct: a silky foie gras terrine with rhubarb confit; soul-satisfying, flaky-crusted quiches; a very respectable bouillabaisse – even that most elusive of dishes, a beautiful, simple, perfectly dressed bibb salad."

“Most pleasing of the offerings was the Dover Sole Menuniere, a basic French dish that is transporting when properly prepared, and this one was: Lightly dredged in flour, the elegant lush fish is sauteed in a lemony brown butter. Beautiful to the taste”
